Bezel Making

Perspective & Objectives:
This 3-days bezel-making workshop is for stones’ lovers, who want to learn how to incorporate them in their jewelry design
Workshop content:
1- Learning the fundamentals of bezel making and bezel setting for cabochon stones.
2- Learning how to make settings for any size round, oval or free form stone or object.
3- Practicing general jewelry making techniques with a stone bezel setting.
It’s a one-to-one tutoring, suitable for beginners to advanced participants

Payment & Refund Policy:
- 50% to be paid to reserve your place, the rest of the amount to be paid maximum on the first day of the workshop.
- 25% of the total amount is not refundable if cancellation occurred three days or less before the workshop.
About Instructor:
Amira Ayad is an Egyptian Jewelry artist. Graduated from The Design Studio by Azza Fahmy-DSAF- in collaboration with Alchimia, School of Contemporary Design in Florence. She has been taught by prominent jewelry artists from across the world. She has taken parts in a number of international and local exhibitions; she had her work exhibited with The Cass School of Design England, through the exchange program “Tandemize” with the British Council. And, she joined the 25th and 27th Legnica International Jewelry Festival in Poland, and Barcelona Contemporary Jewellery Week “Joya”- 2019.
She has taught at The Design Studio by Azza Fahmy for about two years and a half with a concentration on Jewelry making techniques. Currently, she’s creating pieces and delivering Jewellery making and design workshops. She aspires that her art would have the power to change the ways people think and express dissent, a tool for challenging the status quo, and a voice for thoughts on human condition.
